John Fischer is a Managing Director and leads the firm’s research efforts. He founded Andalusian Wealth Management, an independent RIA, in 2014 after careers in Management Consulting (McKinsey & Company) and Banking (Citigroup).
He earned his PhD in Mathematics from Yale University, and his BA and MA from the University of Pennsylvania. His dissertation was supported by a grant from the Alfred P. Sloane Foundation and published in its entirety in the Duke Mathematical Journal. Based in New York as a consultant, he enjoyed long assignments in Tokyo and Seoul. He has a special interest in quantitative and systematic strategies, as well as methods for optimizing investment portfolios.
